  1. As a LN reader, except for the mob characters having design. I'm kinda disappointed that the studio cutted/edited 2 main scene from golden bath :

    1. Yuki gambled on the chance to escape by straight running while 1v4 some of Mishiro's goons to have a chance at surviving
    2. Yuki vs Riko was suppose to be a fight on electric floor, with Yuki winning by kicking an electrocuted corpse onto Riko

  2. Loredrop!

Yes, I lied. The organization of the game did in-fact tried their best to fix your body. But if they can't, you are required to enter a third party organization instead (if you want to continue playing the game, in your fullest condition).

They're kinda not that big, but some of them do provide prosthetics limbs, but you have to maintain it, by frequently visiting the shop 1 time per 2 weeks, or after the game, where the agent will ask you to go to the shop instead before going home.

No, the third party aren't part of the game itself, but they do know it exists.

3:47 all of them lead a death charge, Yuki Sorimachi could've avoided that, if the curse of 30th game, isn't a thing and managed to save them all in her fullest condition. (Regarding about death charge, they're only a group of 5, the other 3 left behind at the bathroom, and the other 4 were dead after the ambush).

If you are wondering, Mishiro's 30th game is that, they're trapped in a snow during the blizzard, where their shelter either the cabins or cave. I forgot how the game ends tho… probably a survival game.

  3. Man, I was kinda looking forward to the showdown between Riko and Yuki.

In the LN, Riko had her arms and legs replaced with super strong and super durable prosthetics. It took a lot of Yuki to fight back, with her originally losing her fingers during the scuffle.

The only way Yuki could kill Riko, was by kicking an electrified corpse at Riko, then I think shoving her so she gets further electrocuted by the floor.

Oh well… At least, the fight between Mishiro and Yuki was beautiful, and Mishiro got to have her big beautiful bout with her rival…

  4. I don't really understand this episode. Does this means that Mishiro and Yuki already met like three times? One during the voting game, and then in this bath complex arc while the other one is before the voting game???

  5. 10:22 I am really devastated to see Yuki breaks her non-chalant, cold character when she screams "I don't want to die".

Now that Yuki said that Mishiro is second-rated player, I wonder who is the 1st-rated and what rate Yuki is?

  6. Yea, this arc just leave me confused, if anything, I have no idea what is the escape part about this bathtub arc and why they suddenly have a shounen fight to death.

Prob jc staff just couldn't give a shit anymore.

  7. I didn't read the manga, but even I can tell that they skipped a lot of scenes in this one. Like seriously, where's the game? What's the game? How's the game?? 😭
Though I do like how they portrayed Yuki having a change in gaming mindset, which is probably the main focus of this arc. Also all the scenes in this ep feel very abstract yet beautiful, somehow poetic even. But man, it's so obvious that they had cut many scenes here, which doesn't quite make sense… Why?? 😭😭

  8. Just noticed that tag Yuki got was 0 so rei that could also mean ghost. Not sure if I'm reading into it too much but I love that detail. Maybe LN people could explain if that means something or may be symbolic.
So far LN peeps say it was a let down in some parts, I guess I agree coz it feels a bit rushed, but still I love that rivalry between Mishiro and Yuki. Like Yuki became Mishiro's motivation to continue and even has that dream of facing her with a more dramatic flare. I initially didn't like Mishiro on their first meet, in the obvious coz she's bossy and dismissed Yuki but I did like it when she was like wailing in the car and now this where it's evident Yuki made an impression on her.

  9. You can't just make me read the light novel just to cut the most exciting part. This episode was such a disappointment. I hope they won't do the same to Candle Woods. If they did, I demand a remake in a movie format.

  10. The power scaling is quite absurd. Riko just kicked a 30-40kg and sent her flying 1-2 meters away?!. Riko picked up the ghost girl with one arm(or two arm idk). Mishiro got stabbed in the face and made her immobile? Even though in ghost house some people like kinkyo got her two leg and one arm cut off she's still able to move.

  11. I didnt even shed a tear in this episode even tho the casualities are a lot, good news Mashiro died that girl PMO me so much. More like this is a joyful episode than horror or sad, but the MC somehow sad πŸ˜‚. Kinko death is the saddest i think, i shed tears when it happens

  12. My mind this entire episode was toxic Yuri πŸ’” I also lowk found Yuki having her humanity was super funny. I didn't look at much of the LN yet, but I'm pretty sure I've seen some silly scenes of Yuki.

The subtitles that were translated by the other translator here made her sound less of what I watched from the Netflix subs, so you guys might not be able to envision that toxic Yuri I was seeing. But, Mishiro's tone sounded real disappointed because she never thought she'd see Yuki in such a state. It's just so omgg

Anyway, I love Yuki so much 😒

  13. LN reader here, after seeing many 'meltdown' from the LN readers, I actually have rather mixed opinion in this eps lol. It's still a really nice episode, the aesthetic never disappoints even from eps 1. The monologue is kinda nice too, adding some spice on it. And ofc the choice of music.

But for me, the anime doesn't really capture the MC's quirk that I like. Yuki is much better in her physical ability. Sure, the thirtieth curse plays its part too, but her full skills aren't in display here. It looks like she's just running away and that kinda disappoints me. Maybe I just prefer the great fighting showdown rather than some heartful monologue, so I can't say outright that this anime version is terrible. It just doesn't suit my taste and expectation from the LN.

And nope im not even the type to only like the action part and completely skip the in-depth-storytelling. The LN has more in depth explanation (obviously) than the anime, and that's ok. But imho, the LN has much more nicer balance on the fighting scene, intensity, storyline and monologue that I can't say is the same case in the anime. It's a great anime, but not a really nice adaption.

  14. In the LN in Yuki's desperate attempt to retrieve the keys she decided to go on a suicide mission but only 4 from the outdoor bath went with her. While they were chasing the girl with the keys, each one of Yuki's team gets apprehended and drowned until Yuki was left surrounded by the indoor bath team as they help to beat her up then Mishiro shows up and they fought. Yuki was able to get the upperhand on Mishiro as her hair got soaked and hindered her vision Yuki stabbed her on the throat resulting to Mishiro's demise. Yuki arrived at the exit were she found Riko sitting on the massage chair, Riko recognized Yuki as Mishiro mentioned Yuki a lot of times that Riko thought Mishiro is out of her mind. She asked for Mishiro but Yuki doesn't know really if she was able to kill her as she is desperate to survive. They fought were Yuki's torso was severely mangled as Riko's hits is very heavy due to the prosthetics. Yuki was only able to defeat her by kicking an electrocuted corpse enough to swing its feet directly to Riko instantly electrocuting her to death. There is no gun in the exit, fully highlighting the need of boots to escape.
