📖 Synopsis：
For centuries, the deadly arts have been perfected by those known as the Masters.

knowing many fabricated controversies of this anime regarding Kinosaki character concept sometimes also taught me at least 2 lessons:
1. if rent girlfriend was already released in early 2000s, long before local anime fanbase in Japan🇯🇵 being tainted by too many global normies and elitists like today, it might caused less fabricated controversy because its story type and Kazuya naturally flawed character concept might only makes rent girlfriend nothing but neon genesis evangelion next generation without mecha regarding main boy with naturally flawed character concept
2. if neon genesis evangelion was just aired in 2020s, when anime fanbase being already tainted by too many global normies and elitists, it might caused worse fabricated controversy because Shinji naturally flawed character concept is no joke offense against their obsession for morally straight and anti-naive 24/7 mc and self-made heroism propaganda
and here's why I assume so:
1. many of these global normies and elitists are still stuck on western superhero tropes where the plot is hyper-progressive and the mc is morally straight and anti-naive 24/7 self-made hero without any emotional vulnerability
2. they can only judge the current taste and trend of local anime market in Japan🇯🇵 either masterpiece or slop based on nothing but their very own standards without understanding the cultural roots and context behind every genre and story type and the actual social impact of the current mental condition of many people in Japan🇯🇵 in real life for the current taste and trend of local anime market in Japan🇯🇵
