Episode 13：Ippon Again!
Episode Summary：
After defeating Odagiri, the next opponent for Towa to fight is foreign student Emma Durant. Although Emma has never competed before, and her ability is unknown, but she is certainly an opponent that should not be underestimated. Emma, who goes at her own pace, asks the audience to clap in support, and in no time at all, she has the attention of the venue to herself. Towa’s mind, focused and honed as she is now, replays her past self that she hated, and her encounter with Michi that changed her. Then, Towa shouts her war cry and goes forth against Emma!

🔍Synopsis：
I’m so through with judo! I just want to live my bittersweet three years of high school with a boyfriend.
When I got sunburnt, my skin would rub against my judo uniform and hurt a lot, and when I tried doing a ground grappling technique, my hair would fall out all over the place. Not to mention the harsh mid-winter training, the nosebleeds, the broken bones, and fainting every time. I couldn’t get stronger even with all that, so I decided to just quit.
So please… don’t remind me of this again, will you? The good feeling of getting a score, an “ippon”.

Thank you Muse Asia for bringing this anime to us. It was really a great watch, not only it has a really smooth and beautiful animation, it also has the spirit of how martial arts IRL. The team effort, perseverance-all of it!
It also made me reminisce my taekwondo days before I quitted where I kinda have regrets since at that time, I have low self confidence and feels like I'm not growing and didn't have the talent for it…i'm also shy and didn't want to become a burden to my senpai's 🥲
Anyway, this is truly a hidden gem worth watching and I'm glad I clicked on its first episode. ❤❤❤

I'm glad I finished watching this entirely. It cheered me up. The thrill and anticipation is just enough to enjoy. I know that it has a low probability of having a second season but it doesn't matter, I'm already happy.

Love the intensity on every match! It makes me feel the intensity of the story like the way how i felt when i was reading slam dunk interhigh chapters.

This is a really good anime. Rewatched it many times over. This deserves second season and more exposure.
Another Girl Sports series, but this one had a more natural sense.
Instead of being an intense one or mostly moe gap. This one really focuses on the basics of Judo while also not putting to much concern on the competitiveness of it. Although yes obviously all sports anime is ganna be competitive like it or not, but this anime didn't at least put that to a podium and just showcase the fun even with losing. Honestly I'm surprised to only find this series now despite it having 25 volumes of manga :/.

Great match! Didn't expect it to be that intense! Wishing for season 2.
I recently decided to Join Judo club and while searching more about judo i get to know about this anime. I wish they make 2nd season of this but with different characters and story.
I wish if i was in my teenage years i would have taken 1 of the martial arts seriously like Judo, but i didn't coz i was lazy and immature, not this time.
