Apparently, it was concluded that the giant Viper went after the humans in the village because it couldnt find prey/food in its habitat…
it was never confirmed wether or not it was connected to Yuna overhunting monsters, but it feels like it was connected. Maybe the author changed her mind midway?
Because it would have added some story depth, that your actions have unintended consequenses.
