Episode Summary：
The First Bloom is where students demonstrate their worth to the various factions of the Tower. Will and Julius aim to be recruited by the Ice Faction. By incorporating Julius’s magic into his sword, Will overwhelms the monsters summoned into the arena with his Wis, drawing offers from five factions, including Ice. However, Kreutz, the director of the Upper Institute, blocks Will from joining any faction. To determine whether Will possesses even the slightest aptitude for being a mage, Kreutz orders him to fight a magical creature known as a Wors Ooze, which can only be defeated through magic attacks.

📖 Synopsis：
A boy named Will enrolls in a magical academy, aspiring to become a full-fledged mage. Despite his hard work, he has a fatal weakness as a mage. It is that he cannot use magic at all. Facing cold stares from classmates and teachers, and at times feeling disheartened, Will presses on with determination. Unable to wield a wand, he takes up a sword and battles in a world where magic reigns supreme. He believes in the power that only he possesses and fights to keep a promise he made to someone important to him.
