Episode 01：Ippon!
Episode Summary：
Michi Sonoda and Sanae Takigawa, members of the Aoba Middle School Judo Club, are preparing for their final middle school match. Michi decides to quit judo for good and declares, “I’ll win this quick by an ippon!” However, the result is the exact opposite: she gets thrown by her opponent’s stranglehold, and a close-up of her fainted face at that moment is tragically spread on the internet… Nine months later, Michi and Sanae are admitted to Aoba West High School, having passed their entrance examinations.

🔍Synopsis：
I’m so through with judo! I just want to live my bittersweet three years of high school with a boyfriend.
When I got sunburnt, my skin would rub against my judo uniform and hurt a lot, and when I tried doing a ground grappling technique, my hair would fall out all over the place. Not to mention the harsh mid-winter training, the nosebleeds, the broken bones, and fainting every time. I couldn’t get stronger even with all that, so I decided to just quit.
So please… don’t remind me of this again, will you? The good feeling of getting a score, an “ippon”.

I can't believe it!
Now I need Mabataki Yori Hayaku anime. It's about girls and karate. It has similar vibe with Ippon but more drama (mostly between family and trying to be better). Also, their fight is mostly serious. Every character has backstory, getting bully, force to stop karate, jealousy and so many things.
I legit have rewatched this anime till finish multiple times. Definitely one of my most favourite anime ever.
