The storytelling is very different from the manga. Many japanese audience have said that this anime doesn't follow the manga. I like both though, they're funny. It's like a comedic parody of mild yandere. But i think the prince is not really a yandere. He just want her to smile and be happy genuinely

Bruh I have bad vibes in this anime before, now it's been confirmed. I'm not even gonna be mad with the characters cause there are evil characters like in this case, the prince, her family, etc. I'm mad at whoever wrote this for romanticizing their traits as funny or wholesome?? Like what the heck is with the sweet music when she's crying while being scolded by the teacher for just small mistakes in the last episode?? And the parents sending her off?? Shouldn't we be informed that they are bad dudes? The writer have so many routes to make this a good story but they chose this one. People who defend the writer either cannot relate to her struggles, or gets it but has wrinkled brain and like this kind of content. And to those kinds of people that's gonna reply, don't worry, I got you. "iTs JuSt FiCtION bLah blaH" yeah like that makes a difference on how fcked up this is
