Episode 12：Change Your Desires Rather Than the Order of the World
Episode Summary：
With the result of the final special exam, Ayanokoji and his classmates were relegated back to Class D after losing to Class A. However, the students made steady progress throughout the year. Horikita, in particular, showed growth as a leader by listening to the opinions of his classmates. Horikita asked Ichinose to terminate the cooperative relationship with Class B, which she would eventually have to defeat someday.

📖Synopsis：
Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School is a dreamlike school that boasts a 100% advancement rate to higher education and employment and provides points equivalent to 100,000 yen in cash every month to its students.
However, in reality, it is a school that places the highest priority on merit, where only a few students with outstanding grades receive favorable treatment.

With the start of the third term, Ayanokoji and his classmates, who have been promoted from Class D to Class C, head off for school camp. They will take part in a special test called “Mixed Training Camp,” where all grades are combined. As the name implies, the test is divided by gender, and several groups are made up of mixed classes and graded based on a group basis.
They have to cooperate with students from classes with whom they had been competing against each other as enemies to obtain a high score. Above all, they are horrified by the rule that students from groups that fail to reach the borderline will be expelled.

The curtain on the turbulent third semester of the school year is about to rise!

  12. I remember ayanokoji convo with manabu about horikitaa and maybe that was the only time he was frank. When manabu asked if he got a girlfriend, the disappointment on his face was priceless 😂 it was the first time I saw that much expressions on his face. He truly respects manabu

  30. Can't help but have huge respect for Manabu.

    He has excellent results both academically and possibly athletically, but he knows he's never perfect. His "beef" with his sister Suzune was nothing more than just a test, which I understood his actions and I actually agreed by his methods despite its not nice to do that as family.

    I initially thought he was really a douchebag towards Suzune just because she saw him as an influencial figure to follow, but seeing through these episodes we can finally see why Manabu acted the way he did. She's too busy chasing his shadows for her success and have no time for herself, always thought that having friends were unnecessary and always do it alone. But that's where and why she failed to get into A class earlier; she had no character growth at all. She didn't even have a "life" of her own. The difference between her and her brother is that he has allies and friends to rely on and they trusted him, even he's a more useful ally to Kiyokita Anayanokoji then her. The more she chased her brother, the further away their relationship had strained because she refused to be herself.

    But because there's Ayanokoji-san, despite always pestering and annoyed her earlier, Suzune gradually improvised and slowly building up her personal growth. She only finally understood after the island trip failure incident that she cannot be alone all the time, her own skills and abilities were never enough to make her great. With Ayanokoji's help, she was able to grew, became a more effective leader than Hirata was and slowly drifting away the idea of following her brother's shadow and began her own journey for success.

    Meanwhile, Manabu was and probably still the only normal guy that has respect from Ayanokoji because he acknowledged his abilities but also gave out a surprising advice for him that he never expected at all as a human machine meant for "perfection".

    The last moment of the episode was a beautiful relationship between two distinct siblings finally reconcile and connected like family after years.

    Thinking logically and personally, I do not think that Suzune should follow Manabu at all. As a prestigious family, Suzune probably doesn't have the same pressure or commitment as her brother, who is probably soon to be heir. In fact, Manabu probably will even faced more condemnation than his sister if he fails or at least failed to protect his reputation, which is why he had "excel everything".
