I'm not a medical expert, and the things I will mention here are things I read online from medical experts and I will quote some of them here.
In BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Episodes 3 and 4 it was revealed that Mutsumi has D.I.D (Dissociative Identity Disorder) it's a mental health condition and someone else's coping mechanism by creating a split persona caused by severe trauma and people who usually have this condition are children around 5-9 years old and quite rare for teenagers and adults, it is possible for a person to develop D.I.D symptoms even as an adult if they experience severe trauma that triggers dissociative coping mechanisms. In the case of Mutsumi, she most likely had it since she was just a child being born with parents who were celebrities and the constant pressure of being a child of two famous people, it just happened that she was not in a good situation mentally when Mortis, her split persona took over. Although currently there is no known cure for D.I.D (Dissociative Identity Disorder) however, with proper treatment through therapy, individuals can learn to manage their symptoms and significantly improve their quality of life, often reaching a state where different identities can coexist without major disruption to daily functioning.

What in the horror anime is this 😂 all jokes aside, I never would have thought Mutsumi have DID, as a person who never had it but bpd instead, I relate to losing sanity a lot. At times I went mania and sometimes, I dissociate almost every day without knowing it. I also have a fear of speaking as well, all I care is about preserving the peace but I never talk about my feelings at all since I know very well it overwhelms me. If I had to choose between speaking or writing, I would mostly preferred writing so that I can composed myself while controlling my emotions. Speaking it out just makes it incredibly uncomfortable for me and whenever I mentioned about my feelings, I stopped talking altogether and went into freeze mode.
Mutsumi really won my heart, I have selective mutism and yes, it sting me deeply that I can't say out loud from my voice. But with singing, writing and self-reflection, I was able to calm down but not permanently. It sucks with selective mutism, but with my undiagnosed combined ADHD, I believe it's going to make me feel more insufferable than I am
The writer of this show is pure genius
If i don't see her as problem, i could see mortis as true genius person. She copied saki and soyo's personality so well. But since her personality couldn't play guitar, then that means she could have more time to practice guitar. Too bad other members are not so mercy to let her that.
