Also don't remember if it was mentioned in the show but Nag part of Nagisa's name means snake in the hindi language. I'm not Indian but I know Hindi or his name could also just have a Japanese origin Im not aware of.
I love how it was Teresaka who verbally drew attention away from him and put it on Nagisa. Any other anime would just have ignored Teresaka falling over to show Nagisa's coolness.
