It's so sad that the anime ended so quickly. I hope their fight with Inashiro will be made into an anime. And give us an act 3 for Koshien in manga or anime. The last manga is East Tokyo Qualifiers Teito vs. Ugumori.
it’s crazy how much eijun and miyuki have grown from when the series first begun… but the fact that they’re the ultimate battery going out there to shut down insane batters remains the same… watching and reading them grow into ace and captain/a better catcher respectively has been so thrilling the past decade. this match showed eijun’s growth the clearest

eijun not letting the dead ball affect his play + miyuki calling for a timeout and knowing just what to say after all the previous matches where he failed to get eijun back on his feet… i just think its peak

Damn! I really hope a better studio pick this up if there's going to be another season. Don't get me wrong I'm thankful we're watching this gem up until now but let's be real having a good anime studio would definitely be different.
The problem is, in this day, sports anime isn't profitable anymore unlike back then. Even isekai slop are doing better than this or even half-baked romance anime. But if the same studio will be the one who will produce the next season. That's pretty welcome too. Just don't drop this series.

imo this season have weak Director lol. The winning double play doesn't get the hype. Miyuki calling Sawamura "partner" doesn't feel rewarding for him. OST is all over the place without reading the mood. I think the director should study more why the S1 is a success and how the anime direction goes
I love this anime. But I'm starting to get annoyed. The 2nd coming of BLUE LOCK. ONE FRAME OF DIAMONDS. They can't even animate movements anymore. 😑 I'll just read the Manga instead.

Bruh the animation sucks! Just like the last episode. Studio getting lazy or it's getting budget cuts. Fucking sad because Amahisa Sawamura showdown is my fave part.
Act II is basically, Sawamura's revenge from last year. Miyuki VS Mei and his gang. And also Sawamura and Miyuki's last year of being a battery for highschool.
