I love this anime because the main lead finally confessed to the person he truly loved — the one who had always been in his heart. Komiya didn’t end up with him because he never thought of anyone else that way. Yes, maybe Natsume didn’t believe it at first, or felt that he didn’t love her anymore after so much time had passed — but deep down, he always did.

I'll be honest, I feel like I'm not on the same page as almost everyone who watched this anime. Natsume also had a one-sided love for Soma, and yet she later realized her feelings for Izumi. She was also hurt when she knew Soma didn't liked her back.
As someone who was rejected multiple times by my first love, I get Komiya a lot. But that's the reality, not every person you like, likes you back.
Not to be rude, but please, Komiya will soon meet the one who will truly love her, so stop feeling bad for her. If it's not a happy ending, then it's not the ending yet.
