Jean is definitely one of the best written characters of aot and it shows. I love how he go through the phases of conflict within himself but never let it stop him from being sensible. I love him so much.

This episode is really tough to sit through but feels like a relief at the same time, especially with all the grudges finally coming to a head. Seeing Hange stay so calm while everyone else is losing it just shows what a great leader she is.

Throughout the AOT history, rulers of different countries clashed & wanted power & wealth. Eldian Empire was the most powerful & so killed the most. Marley, despite being a scum itself, manipulated the world & created unfair hatred against the Eldians.
In conclusion, Eldians – the true Descendents of Ymir are totally inocent. The people who exploited them are the real devils, including Marley. Eldians got tortured under their own rulers in the past & now they're getting discriminated because of the deeds of their previous rulers.
In wars, only inocent people & manipulated soilders die, not the true cause. Eren, knowing all of history from scratch, decided to restart humanity by erasing the past.
It may seem ridiculous & childish from our side because we view AOT as an anime, not reality. But I, the writer & other viewers, know that the AOT world perfectly defines human nature.
Always remember! In our reality, our human ethics & morality is well-developed & well-defined, but in AOT it's a different story. Their situation is literally like "Kill or Get Killed in the Worst way Possible". Their fate is unfathomablly unlucky 😞
